Flipflops has just moved servers. Things have been a little hectic lately and to cut a long story short for about a month the website has been running with all its files living in America and using a database in London (initially this was so there was no down time when the DNS was migrated – the I forgot all about it…). Consequently it was a little bit slow.
It was bugging me what on earth was wrong – becuase not everything was slow so I knew it wasn’t the server… I suppose the amazing thing is it was as fast as it was. Still all fixed now.
